{"id":112,"date":"2009-07-26T20:34:57","date_gmt":"2009-07-27T02:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sydnieann.com\/?p=112"},"modified":"2009-07-26T20:34:57","modified_gmt":"2009-07-27T02:34:57","slug":"shes-got-a-secret-garden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/?p=112","title":{"rendered":"She&#8217;s got a secret garden&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OK, not so secret.\u00a0 But check out what we got out of it!\u00a0 Try to ignore the general scrubbiness of the spokesmodel.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"617\" src=\"http:\/\/i175.photobucket.com\/albums\/w134\/sydnieann\/DSC01599.jpg\" height=\"675\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They are ginormous!!\u00a0 (The zucchinis.)\u00a0 I hadn&#8217;t checked the garden for about 3 days, other than to grab a few leaves of basil.\u00a0 Then I went out, and these little squash that were only about 5 inches long had GROWN!\u00a0 So\u00a0we picked &#8217;em, and we had one of them grilled for dinner.\u00a0 We&#8217;re going to eat a lot of zucchini this summer!\u00a0 And make zucchini bread and zucchini soup.\u00a0 I saw a recipe in Women&#8217;s Health for zucchini soup that looked yummy, and it uses fresh dill &#8211; which I ALSO have in the garden!\u00a0 There are some more baby zucchini out there, and some baby cucumbers &amp; jalapenos, and a lot of green tomatoes!\u00a0 So far, we&#8217;ve used a bunch of the herbs and one cucumber.\u00a0 I&#8217;m way excited for everything else to be ready!<\/p>\n<p>This weekend was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greeleygov.com\/CultureArt\/ArtsPicnic.aspx\">Greeley Arts Picnic<\/a>, one of my favorite events of the year here.\u00a0 We went downtown and checked out all of the offerings &#8211; there are some amazingly creative and talented people out there!\u00a0 We visited with Chad, the silversmith teacher, and checked out his stuff.\u00a0 We also enjoyed some awesome food &#8211; what is a picnic, after all, without good food?\u00a0 There was a crepe vendor there, so I had a delicious ham, cheese, and veggie crepe for lunch, and then we all split a heavenly (and I&#8217;m SO not exaggerating!) dessert crepe with chocolate, cream, strawberries, and bananas.\u00a0 Yum!\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OK, not so secret.\u00a0 But check out what we got out of it!\u00a0 Try to ignore the general scrubbiness of the spokesmodel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[5,7],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/112"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=112"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/112\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=112"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=112"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=112"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
