Trina and Steve’s wedding was lovely!!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m so glad I finally got to meet Steve, especially after hearing from the whole family about what a nice guy he is.\u00c2\u00a0 It was good to meet his family also – they all seem like great people!\u00c2\u00a0 And of course, it was good to see my family!\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t get to see them nearly often enough.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
While at the reception, I had the realization that I am now one of the old lady relatives, who goes forever without seeing all the cousins’ kids, then tells them “Oh, you’ve grown so much!!\u00c2\u00a0 Look how big you’ve gotten!!”\u00c2\u00a0 And they have no idea who I am, I’m just the crazy lady who gives them hugs and kisses and pinches their cheeks.\u00c2\u00a0 OK, I didn’t actually pinch anyone’s cheeks.\u00c2\u00a0 But, wow!!\u00c2\u00a0 My family’s got some super cute kids in it!!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
I also seem to have that crazy old lady relative tendency with all of the dogs.\u00c2\u00a0 I counted – I got to play with 6 little kids this weekend, 1 cat, and 8 dogs (not counting my own)!!\u00c2\u00a0 The difference there is that the dogs (most of them, at least) are pretty much happy to listen to whatever I have to say, as long as I have snacks or a free hand available…\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
