{"id":49,"date":"2006-12-20T21:07:08","date_gmt":"2006-12-21T03:07:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sydnieann.com\/?p=49"},"modified":"2006-12-20T21:07:08","modified_gmt":"2006-12-21T03:07:08","slug":"snow-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sydnieann.com\/?p=49","title":{"rendered":"SNOW DAY!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today began the Great Holiday Blizzard of 2006!!\u00c2\u00a0 Holy smokes, there is SO MUCH SNOW!!<\/p>\n<p>I went to work for a while, and was planning on heading out a little early, but then left even earlier than planned.\u00c2\u00a0 We actually closed for the afternoon and tomorrow!\u00c2\u00a0 It took me a little over an hour (usually a 30 minute drive) to get home, but it wasn&#8217;t too horrible.\u00c2\u00a0 My little Cavalier is SO good on slick roads.\u00c2\u00a0 Oh, and by the way&#8230; it crossed 180K miles on Monday!!\u00c2\u00a0 Only 20K to go to the 200K goal!!\u00c2\u00a0 The only problems I ran into were in the 6 inch drifts, where the snow was a little deeper than the Cav really likes.\u00c2\u00a0 That, and trying to drive down my street, where the snow was super deep even at noon today.<\/p>\n<p>However&#8230; Tina was driving home from Colorado Springs today (normally a 2 hour drive).\u00c2\u00a0 She left there at 9:00 AM, just as the snow was starting.\u00c2\u00a0 At about 4:30 today, she called from the end of the block, where her car was stuck!\u00c2\u00a0 About an hour after that, with the extremely generous help of many neighbors, we all managed to push, shove, dig, and drive the car down the block.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here are a couple of pictures from my front door (there&#8217;s no way I&#8217;m going any farther outside right now!)&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;ll try to get a couple of the snow dogs tomorrow in the daylight!<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.sydnieann.com\/wp-content\/Uploads\/SnowDay1.JPG\" \/>\u00c2\u00a0 <img src=\"http:\/\/www.sydnieann.com\/wp-content\/Uploads\/SnowDay2.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today began the Great Holiday Blizzard of 2006!!\u00c2\u00a0 Holy smokes, there is SO MUCH SNOW!!
